This book Swarm robot is an approach to robotics applications in which a large group of mobile robots coordinate to perform tasks. The core idea of this is that a lot of relatively simple robots can perform difficult tasks as good as few complex ones. Swarm robots are mainly composed of many individuals and have the following features, the individuals are relatively homogeneous, the individuals are relatively incapable, the interactions among the individuals are based on simple behavioural rules that exploit only local information, the overall behaviour results from a self-organized process. Swarm robotics in real world requires a large number of robots and thus enough room for experimentation. Therefore, to implement such experiments with limited budget, robots should be compact and low cost.The main objectives of this project are for educational purposes and as a development platform for an intelligent software middleware to coordinate the activities of a swarm. The show makes heavy use of black comedy. At the time, Nickelodeon had wanted to air a show for its "eleven to fifteen year-old" demographic when Invader Zim was first broadcast on March 30, 2001. Nickelodeon promoted Invader Zim for this purpose, and met critical acclaim. However, the show suffered in the ratings after an initially lukewarm viewership. Before the second season was completed, Nickelodeon canceled the show, citing low ratings, over-budget production, and lack of interest in continuation of the series, leaving at least sixteen episodes and a planned television movie series finale unfinished.

This book is aimed to help in developing a system that capable of connecting programmer with a robot at a remote location. The open source software fits the requirement of this project, which enable the development of system with a low cost budget. The user interface program enables the programmer to monitor the robot from a remote area.
